Free Vessel Support:

Provided by Freedom Boat Club, tickets limited space and are required. 

Free Vessel Support:

Freedom boat club, limited availability, ticket required. Meet at Dunedin Marina dock at 7:30am for 8 am departure.

Free SCUBA Gear:

Sponsored by Trilogy Dive Tampa. Must reserve free SCUBA gear through Trilogy Dive Center in Tampa. Volunteer responsble for pick up and drop off of rental gear. 

The tournament will begin at first light.

Teams will have a few hours to find trash and compete in the prize categories.

Weigh-in starts at 11am and runs until 2:30pm.

Waterborne Teams: Load in trash on the West Dock @ Dunedin Marina, unload only, no vessel parking.

Shoreside Teams: Load in on the West Entrance Dunedin Marina 

The Awards Ceremony will be held at 4:30pm, winners will be announced, and trophies given.

The event will conclude with a Raffle Drawing Proceeds from the raffle sales benefit Camp Coral SCUBA Camp scholarships.

This free event will be open to the public

The tournament is hosted by Water Warrior Alliance. And partnership with Blue Green Connections Hope Spot festival, sponsored by the city of Dunedin.

In addition, several other organizations and businesses are participating, including Trilogy Dive Center with free charters and SCUBA gear, Freedom Boat Club providing vessel support, Keep Pinellas Beautiful will be providing support, Stream2sea provides reef safe sunscreen, Mother Kombucha provides sparkling water, Greepolly provides trash bags, and Repair the Seas will be making the Captain's Trophies out of up-cycled plastic bottles.

    Make a difference from the shores with the Shoreside Ticket to the Dunedin Ocean Sweep Trash Collection Tournament! Claim your spot on land within Dunedin's city limits and team up with fellow volunteers to tackle ocean pollution from the shore. Your ticket ensures you're part of a dedicated shoreside team working collectively to clean up our marine environment. Join us in this on-land challenge and play your part in keeping Dunedin's shores pristine!

  • Freedom Boat Club

    1 ticket per person, This is your vesselticket to the Dunedin Ocean Sweep! Your complimentary ticket grants you a spot on a Freedom Boat Club vessel for a day of ocean preservation. On the day of the event, scuba divers and Waterborne volunteers will be grouped separately onto boats, ensuring a coordinated effort. Whether you're diving for a scuba-cleaning adventure or working above the surface to clear trash and tidy up islands, join us in preserving the beauty of the ocean, meet at dock 7:30am
