🏖️ SHORESIDE TEAM GUIDE

📍 Entrance: Harborage Marina - High & Dry

📡 Coordinates: 27°45'20.2"N 82°38'06.5"W; 1500 2nd St S, St. Pete , FL 33701

✅ WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE

  1. Park at the end of the lot.

  2. Unload your trash into your team’s tarp-lined wagon.

  3. Follow the ramp into the venue and follow the signs to pavilion

  4. Check in at the table near the stage with your team name.

Check-In Process:

  • Every team must complete:

    • 📝 A paper check-in form (1 per team)

    • 📲 A digital form (scan QR code at the table)

  • Pre-registered teams receive a Team Packet.

  • Walk-up teams receive a clipboard and items based on team size.

Categories:

  • ✔️ Total Weight – Measured in pounds

  • ⚓ Anchors – Counted by number collected

  • 🎯 Most Unique Item – Judged by weigh-in team

  • ♻️ 7 Types of Plastics Challenge – Sort your trash into these 7 plastic categories before weigh-in:

    1. Plastic bottles

    2. Bottle caps

    3. Food wrappers

    4. Plastic bags

    5. Straws/stirrers

    6. Foam (Styrofoam)

    7. Other miscellaneous plastic pieces

🛑 You may enter up to 2 categories:
Total Weight + ONE of the following:
• Most Unique Item
• Anchors
• 7 Types of Plastics Challenge

👕 Put on your shirt for team photos and interviews during weigh-in!

🍔 Big Catch at Salt Creek

🕐 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
🎟️ Show your wristband to eat.

Includes:

  • Food provided by Big Catch at Salt Creek

Veggie options available upon request.
