Water Warrior Alliance Celebrates International Day of Peace

Water Warrior Alliance is celebrating the International Day of Peace as we support and align with the Sustainable Developmental Goals (UN SDGS) To futher promote this epic week of community activities, engagement, activism and artivism, we would like to promote and share the Global Love Project  which has a grand finale celebration: SEPTEMBER 21ST  3:30 - 7:30 PM AT NORTH STRAUB PARK, ST. PETERSBERG

JoinThe Global Love Project, Water Warrior Alliance, and so many other community members businesses, artists, and orgranizations for the first annual celebration of International Day of Peace at North Straub Park in St. Petersburg Florida.  “Peace in the Park” will be filled with activities to create and express what Peace means to you.  There will be live music, chalk art, and space for everyone to enjoy moments of Peace within the community.  We will finish up the evening with a 1.5 mile candle lit walk at 7pm to the St.Pete Pier and back, with a moment of silence honoring the day.  All are welcome to come create, connect, and express for this International Holiday.

The intention of the International Day of Peace is to promote and encourage a global ceasefire and to foster an environment of peace and understanding across the world. It serves as a day for people to reflect on the importance of peace and to engage in activities that promote peace and harmony. Events and initiatives on this day aim to highlight and address various global issues, such as conflicts, human rights abuses, and social injustices, encouraging cooperative efforts to build a more peaceful world.
