About the Event

Join Water Warrior alliance and participate in the upcoming Pasco. Great America can clean up. We will meet up Strauber Memorial, Holiday Fl. Near one of our new Watergoat location's. .

.

Keep Pasco Beautiful has been participating in the Great American Cleanup since 1992. This year we are thrilled to have Covanta Pasco as our presenting sponsor.  The Great American Cleanup in Pasco County is always the first Saturday in March, this year it is March 2, 2024.  Start and end times will vary slightly based on location.

This is a national event to promote shared community responsibility by picking up litter.  In 2023 780 people volunteered for 2,081 hours and picked up 14.48  tons of trash.  The Independent Sectorvalues a volunteer hour at $29.95, which would put the volunteer cost benefit for this cleanup at $62,325.95.  There were 43 locations throughout Pasco County including Holiday, New Port Richey, Port Richey, Hudson, Land o' Lakes, Dade City and Wesley Chapel.  Keep Pasco Beautiful coordinated trash disposal and supplied trash bags, gloves, and t-shirts.

Cleanups are not just about picking up trash, they are also litter prevention.  Litter attracts litter so a clean space helps to prevent it.  Registration will end on February 23.  To register for the Great American Cleanup please click on the registration button below.   It all adds up.
